Under an arrangement between ADB Inc. and Steve Jackson Games, ADB Inc. is publishing a series of RPG sourcebooks and other materials based on the Star Fleet Universe. The contract places no limit on the number or type of such products, as both companies expect there to be considerable interest in a continuing product line. Using the GURPS game engine gives players access to a hundred GURPS manuals on a wide variety of subjects; you won't have to wait to explore new planets.
GURPS Prime Directive allows characters to be anything, from the bridge crew to the Marines, from diplomats to archaeologists, from a bunch of reserve officers looking to recapture the adventures of their long-lost youth, to a squadron of fighter pilots whose parties are as wild as their dogfights. Or you could be a Prime Team, Star Fleet's elite problem solving teams that combine the skills of scientists, diplomats, and commandoes.
